Emigrant Direct Rating Lowered by Bankrate.com

Compton Advisors, LLC is no longer recommending Emigrant Direct as a good, high-yield custodian of its clients' savings due to a reduction of Bankrate.com's rating from 3-star to 2-star.

This rating does not forecast impending collapse and savings accounts are insured by the FDIC to $100,000, but the lower rating is sufficient to cause us to remove Emigrant Direct as a recommended savings institution.
